Paths to Healing

Specialized Clinical Care

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a confidential space to explore personal challenges, emotional struggles, or periods of uncertainty. Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or wanting a better understanding of themselves and their experiences. My work focuses on making sense of difficulties within the broader context of your life, while developing new perspectives, coping strategies, and ways of moving forward that feel meaningful and sustainable.

Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety can present as constant worry, overthinking, physical tension, or feeling unable to switch off. While anxiety is a normal human response, it can become distressing when it begins to interfere with daily life. Therapy helps you understand how anxiety operates and develop practical and emotional tools to respond differently to stress, thoughts, and uncertainty.

Depression

Depression often involves more than sadness. Many people experience low motivation, exhaustion, self-criticism, or a loss of connection with themselves or others. Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences with compassion, helping reconnect with meaning, energy, and aspects of identity that may feel distant or lost.

Trauma & PTSD

Past experiences can continue to shape how we feel, think, and relate to others. Trauma may show up as anxiety, emotional numbness, relationship difficulties, or a persistent sense of unsafety. Therapy is paced carefully and focuses on understanding the impact of experiences while rebuilding a sense of emotional safety and control.

Addiction & Substance Use

Addictive behaviours often develop as ways of coping with stress, emotional pain, or overwhelming experiences. Therapy provides a non-judgmental space to understand the role substances or behaviours play in your life. Together, we explore healthier ways of managing emotions, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful, lasting change.

Autism & ADHD

Autism and ADHD assessments provide clarity for adolescents and adults who may have long experienced differences in attention, communication, learning, or social interaction. I conduct comprehensive Autism assessments using the DISCO (Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders). The assessment process explores developmental history, strengths, and current challenges, with feedback focused on understanding, practical recommendations, and supportive next steps.

Work with Adolescents

Adolescence can be a complex period involving emotional changes, academic pressures, identity development, and relationship challenges. Therapy offers young people a supportive and respectful space to talk openly, develop emotional skills, build confidence, and navigate this stage of life more securely. Collaboration with parents or caregivers occurs when appropriate while maintaining the adolescent’s sense of safety and trust.

Subject Choice & Career Counselling

Choosing school subjects or career directions can feel overwhelming for many young people. Career counselling helps individuals better understand their interests, strengths, values, and future possibilities. Through discussion and psychological assessment where needed, the process supports informed decision-making and greater confidence about educational and career pathways.
